This website provides access to information, education and support for the caregiving community. The Caregiver Support Group and Children of Aging Parents Support Group offer emotional support, affirmation, understanding and socialization as well as assistance with community resources for individuals who are serving as caregivers for aging parents, spouses or other family members. Groups are held in Sarasota and Venice.
JFCS SERVICESJFCS is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and provides the following comprehensive geriatric care management services to seniors and their families: Consultation and assessment; Information and assistance; Personalized care plans; Home visits by licensed and trained professionals. Being the Caregiver can be difficult, demanding, exhausting, and rewarding. New Caregivers need information, help, and support. Inside you will find checklists, tips, and other information designed to help you. READING ROOMOur Reading Room contains a collection of articles pertaining to significant issues faced by caregivers. We also maintain a booklist of suggested reading as well as a collection of healthy recipes.
